CECAM/Psi-K workshop entitled "Computational plasmonics: an ab initio and multiscale
perspective".
To be held in Lausanne,
2-4 Nov 2015.
This workshop shall bring together theoreticians and
experimentalists working on nanoplasmonics, with the focus on the basic
understanding of the plasmonic effects at the nanoscale.
Topics
include:
-Description of plasmons from an electronic structure viewpoint
-First principles description of conventional and unconventional plasmonic materials
-Multiscale approaches to molecular and nanoplasmonic phenomena
-Experimental characterization of plasmons in nanostructures
